Your Leads
What Happens When Someone Submits the Form
When a visitor completes the enquiry form on your landing page, their details are captured instantly and appear in your report. Here's what gets recorded:
Contact Details
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
Location
- Postcode
- Full address (if the visitor uses the address lookup on the form)
Qualification Answers
Any additional questions on your form — such as property type, energy usage, or service interest — are recorded alongside the contact details. These help you or your sales team qualify and prioritise leads.
Attribution
Every lead record includes a complete picture of how that person found you:
| Attribution Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Advertising platform | Google, Meta, email |
| Campaign | solar-leeds-q2 |
| Ad or ad group | The specific ad they clicked |
| Landing page variant | Which of the four designs they saw |
| Headline shown | If a custom headline was used |
This means you can see not just who enquired, but exactly which campaign and which page variant drove that enquiry.
Viewing Your Leads
Your leads appear in your report under the Leads section. You can filter by date range, source, and campaign.
If you need to export your leads or connect them to a CRM, contact us through your report and we'll arrange the integration.
Lead Quality
The form includes built-in quality checks:
- UK phone number format validation
- UK postcode validation
- Duplicate detection (the same visitor submitting twice is recorded once)
Leads that fail basic validation are flagged separately so they don't inflate your reported numbers.
What Happens After a Lead Is Submitted
- The lead is recorded in your report immediately
- If you have CRM or lead delivery set up, the lead is forwarded automatically
- The visitor is redirected to your thank-you page
- The conversion is attributed to the correct campaign and variant in your report
The entire process happens within a few seconds of the form being submitted.
